Atsaq Ookami[1] (also known as Dr. Ookami and Mrs. Ookami) is the physician mother of Tooey Ookami. She is shown with short black hair, wearing a green shirt and red-rimmed glasses.
"At-sook" is how her name is pronounced when Molly says it in Porcupine Slippers
Rocky Rescue revealed her surname when Molly's mom flies her to provide medical assistance and she sends a text message to Molly. Prior to this, there had not been concrete evidence that she was the mother of Tooey who had been referenced a couple times before.
Etymology[]
Name Game revealed that her Native name is Atsaq, and it was given to her by her great uncle. Atsaq means "berry" in the Yup'ik language.
She is one of the few characters who goes by her Native name, rather than having an alternate western name for general usage.

In A Splash of Mink she is present watching the band play.
During Operation Sleepover she is hesitant to let dogs in the house but eventually relents if the kids will make sure they remain on their best behavior. She is lenient with the kids and dogs, telling them she'll pretend not to see the mess the dogs made if the kids clean it up.
In Porcupine Slippers she reveals that she and Layla were childhood friends, and that Layla was given the nickname "Eagle Eye" by Atsaq and their friends.
